How the Stake Ranked Episode 3 format works
The main event LAN Finals of Stake Ranked is an A-tier tournament with matches played over a double-elimination bracket. Regular matches during the tournament are played to the best of 3 games. The double elimination Bo3 format means that teams have another chance to progress even if they lose their Upper Bracket match.
By beating their opponents, teams advance through the bracket. The Grand Final is played in the best of 5 games, and the champions receive $25,000 in prize money. The double-elimination bracket used in Stake Ranked Episode 3 means that teams can lose a match and still potentially progress to the final.
