THE CHOOK (1) First up and charged home to win first up last preparation at this track. Has a nice turn of foot. Driver Alex Ashwood has been successful aboard previously. Has to be strongly considered. DEEP LOVE (5) Got going late when 4th last run at the track. Has good tactical speed and will be nicely positioned. Must respect in this event. POPPY POPSTAR (4) Although being out sprinted still placed 2nd beaten by 8m last start at this track and stepping back up in trip. Should race on the speed. In the mix. VICTREE VIC (6) Ran 6th last time at Shepparton but back to a rise in trip. Each way all day.
